Reminder:  Awana will keep with the Nixa School District schedule, and if school is cancelled or dismissed early on a Wednesday, Awana will be cancelled, also. 
 
Awanaź is an amazing program that teaches children to know, love and serve Christ.  This program is offered for children age 3 through the 6th grade dividing into 3 age categories as described below.  Our 3rd year for this program began on September 9th, 2009 and ends May 19.  It is held on Wednesday nights from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.  We are using the NIV (New International Version) translation of the Bible.
 
We're looking forward to a great year of Awana with our prayer being that boys and girls will come to know, love, and serve the Lord Jesus Christ.

Cubbies:  3 Years through Pre Kindergarten*
 
Cubbies is a two year program. 
 
*In order to be a Cubbie, the following requirements need to be met:
                              1.  3 years old as of Aug 1, 2009
                              2.  Potty-trained.
 
 
  
Sparks:  Kindergarten through 2nd grade
 
Sparks is a three year program.
 
   
Truth & Training:  3rd through 6th grade (girls)
                              3rd through 6th grade (boys)
 
Truth & Training is a four year program.
 
 
 
 HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR AWANA?
Forms are available at the church office.  You may stop by anytime between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.  Each child progresses at their own pace through this program so children are welcome to begin anytime throughout the year.
 
 REGISTRATION INFORMATION:
The 2009-2010 registration fee is $25 per clubber.  ($50 maximum for any one family)  Scholarship assistance available.  Ask for details.
 
 AWANA SCHEDULE:
This Awana Club Year starts September 9, 2009 and will end on Awards Night May 19, 2010. 
The Awana Club Calendar follows the Nixa School District Calendar. 
(If school is cancelled for any reason on a Wednesday, Awana will be cancelled also.)
