 HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR UPWARD?
 
Forms are available at the church office.  You may stop by anytime between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
 
 REGISTRATION INFORMATION:
 
We will soon be starting our 10th season of Upward Basketball! 
 
The early registration cost per child for basketball is $50: after October 17, the cost is $55.  Basketball shorts are optional at a cost of $12.
The early registration cost per child for cheerleading is $50; after October 17, the cost is $55.  Cheerleading mock turtlenecks are optional at a cost of $12.
Deadline for registration is October 21.
 
Please register early to avoid additional cost!
 
 EVALUATIONS AND ORIENTATIONS:
 
2011 Registration dates:
 
Basketball Evaluation & Cheerleading Orientation for
Kindergarten through 6th Grade Boys/Girls will take place on:
Saturday, October 15, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Monday, October 17, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
 
Everyone must attend one basketball evaluation or cheerleading orientation.
They will take place at the North Nixa Baptist Church Family Life Center Gym.
 
COACHES TRAINING:
 
The coaches training will be Tuesday November 15th & Thursday November 17th at 6:00pm. Food will be provided. Every coach is expected to attend one of these nights, as there are many changes this year.
 
 LEAGUE SCHEDULE:
 
First Practice nights - Tuesday, November 29 & Thursday, December 1, 2011
 
No Practices the week between Christmas and New Years
 
First Game - Saturday, January 7, 2012
                   9:00 a.m. - K & 1st grade coed
                 10:00 a.m. - 2nd & 3rd grade girls
                 11:00 a.m. - 2nd & 3rd grade boys
                 12:00 p.m. - 4th - 6th grade girls
                   1:00 p.m. - 4th - 6th grade boys
Last Game - Saturday, February 25, 2012
 
Picture Night - January, 10th & 12th
 
Awards Celebration - Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at 6:30 p.m.
Quest Speaker:  Robyn Slain, Basketball spinning & dribbling Specialist 
All players and cheerleaders will receive an award.
