HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR UPWARD?
Forms are available at the church office. You may stop by anytime between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION:
We will soon be starting our 8th season of Upward Basketball!
The early registration cost per child for basketball is $50: after October 12, the cost is $55. Basketball shorts are optional at a cost of $10.
The early registration cost per child for cheerleading is $50; after October 12, the cost is $55. Cheerleading mock turtlenecks are optional at a cost of $10.
Deadline for registration is October 31.
Please register early to avoid additional cost!

EVALUATIONS AND ORIENTATIONS:
2009 Registration dates:
Basketball Evaluation & Cheerleading Orientation for
Kindergarten through 6th Grade Boys/Girls will take place on:
Saturday, October 10, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Monday, October 12, 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Tuesday, October 20, 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Tuesday, October 27, 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Everyone must attend one basketball evaluation or cheerleading orientation.
They will take place at the North Nixa Baptist Church Family Life Center Gym.

COACHES TRAINING:
Coaches training will be held on Tuesday, November 17 at 6:30 p.m. or Thursday November 19 at 6:30 p.m.

LEAGUE SCHEDULE:
First Practice nights - Tuesday, December 1 & Thursday, December 3, 2009
No Practices the week of Christmas and New Years
First Game - Saturday, January 9, 2010
Last Game - Saturday, February 27, 2009
Picture Night - January, 12th & 14th
Awards Celebration - Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. with guest speaker "Heno."
All players and cheerleaders will receive an award. |
